Jet A-1 is the most widely used aviation turbine fuel for commercial aircraft worldwide. It is a kerosene-based fuel specifically designed for jet engines and turboprop aircraft. It’s what powers 99% of passenger planes you fly on.

1. Not gasoline: Jet A-1 is kerosene, like lamp oil but ultra-refined. It’s safer – flash point 38°C+ vs gasoline -43°C
